HOW JESUS LIVED

Though Jesus was fully man, all the days of His life on earth He never once committed a sin. He is the only sinless man who ever lived. He was examined by His enemies day and night, but they never found any sin in Him.

Jesus lived a humble life. He didn’t try to make a reputation for Himself. He received no special honors from people. He was born in a stable. He was reared in the insignificant village of Nazareth. He was a simple carpenter.

And when He began His earthly ministry, He gathered around Him a humble group of fishermen as His followers. He walked among us as a man. He was one of us.

Jesus lived among us so we could see God with our eyes, touch God with our hands, talk to God with our lips, hear God speak with our ears, and live with God in our world. He came so that we could learn how to be like Him—the Son of God.

We, too, can become sons and daughters of God. Jesus has shown us how to live, love, laugh, and be accepted in the eyes of His Father—our Father. And that’s not all He did for us.
